CT-41 Black PTFE Coating
Category: PTFE Coating

Description
CT-41 is a Black non-stick PTFE coating with a polyamide-imide binder used on metallic substrates to reduce sticking tendency and also provide a tough, durable film for dry lubrication and good abrasion resistance.
Substrate(s)
- Aluminum
- Stainless Steel
- Steel
Thickness
- Thickness (mil): 0.5 - 1
Color(s)
- Black
Process
CT-41 non-stick coating is applied as a spray process. Different surface preparatory methods appropriate for the substrates will be used prior to the coating process. Coating thickness is varied to suit the application. Typical coating thickness varies from 0.6 to 0.8 mil (15 to 20 microns). Can be coated on ferrous and non-ferrous substrates.
Advantages
Low coefficient of friction, Good release characteristics, Corrosion Resistant, Low cure temperature, Abrasion resistant, Taber wear test - approximately 24 milligrams per 1000 cycles, Does not affect magnetic particle inspection for cracks.
- Abrasion Resistant
- Chemical Resistant
- Corrosion Protection
- Low Coefficient of Friction
